Advertising serves two purposes,
to brand a particular product or company, and to sell
the item or service being advertised. In both cases, the
end goal is sales. Whereas many advertising companies
design purely for aesthetics, Conversion
By Design seeks
to produce advertisements that are relevant to the offer,
receive click throughs, and are likely to convert to sales.
With Conversion By Design
you can expect the following:
 |
Careful Consideration
of the Target Demographic |
 |
Determination of Focus on Sales and/or
Branding |
 |
Low File Sizes for Optimal Load Time |
 |
Prompt Completion and a Streamlined
Process |
 |
Use of Established Graphics, Fonts
and Logos |
 |
Multiple Opportunities for Revisions
Based on Your Feedback |
A growing trend in online advertising is the intense focus
on the click-through rate as if once this is increased no
variables exist further along in the sales process.
Don't be fooled! By seeking only to increase clicks, advertising
agencies can place the blame of low conversion on a merchant's
landing page, product attractiveness and/or purchase process.
In some cases, this is absolutely true, but only if the
advertisement is actually targeted and advertises the product
or service that is intended to be sold. For example, if
a banner says, "Click here and enter to win a free
mp3 player" and leads to a site selling long distance
telephone service, the visitor is likely to close the window
immediately. Whereas if that same banner were directed to
a music download site and visitors entered to win by signing
up, this would be a better use and would still receive a
huge number of click-throughs. However, the conversion from
click to sale would still be lower than a banner advertising
the service itself, because the visitor knows ahead of time
what they are commiting to if more information is on the
banner.
Most banners offer an extremely small space in which to
convey a message. In contrast
to magazine ads or television commercials, banners must
make an impression on a viewer within a split second and
that viewer must understand the banner at any given moment
it is viewed. Because of this,
sometimes a focus has to be chosen between sales and branding
as company logos and other elements can take up valuable
space on a banner. Conversion
By Design considers many factors
when making suggestions as to whether a banner should focus
on Sales or Branding. If the product or service can be explained
in just a few words it is possible to do both, but with
more complicated products and services branding must sometimes
be sacrificed. It is also true that a small company with
a lower advertising budget will likely rather focus on sales
and not establish branding until the company can support
such a move. Branding pays
off in the long term, whereas sales oriented advertisements
are intended to convert immediately.
We will evaluate your offer, and if required we will give
you suggestions as to which route should be taken.
No one knows your product
or service better than you!
At Conversion By Design,
our clients are an extremely important part of the process.
We will start by emailing you a questionairre that allows
us to learn about your product or service and research your
industry further online to get and overall understanding
of your offer. Along with this questionairre, you will send
us any existing graphics material and copy that may be useful
in the production of your advertisements. From this information
we will produce a first draft of your advertisements. Upon
receiving this draft, you will optionally have 3 emails
in which to suggest as many changes to the advertisements
as you wish in each. This ensures client involvement if
it is necessary with three rounds of improvements to ensure
satisfaction. Frequently, however, due to the quality of
our work our clients do not request additional revisions.
We aim to produce advertisements
that work! Call us
